I made the decision the launch my home-based travel business early 2020. I’ve always wanted to add travel to my income portfolio because, as a businesswoman, I knew that travel was one of those things that would never go away and that there would always be an opportunity for success within the industry. The COVID-19 global pandemic proved that to be correct. Even though I was a brand new travel consultant when the pandemic started, I was still able to launch my business with great results. People still wanted to travel or plan to travel post-pandemic, which meant that I could still grow a viable business in the travel industry even when the world was crumbling around us.

I can’t be the only one who’s experienced crazy burnout since the beginning of 2020. Ya’ll this pandemic took me completely out. I remember when we were a couple months into this global pandemic. Even though I was starting to feel the effects of what was going on around me, I still tried to keep up with maintaining my life and businesses as normal. That didn’t last long. In June of 2020, I had been infected by the coronavirus, and it was NOT pretty. Thankfully, I was able to recover within a few weeks and I didn’t get any of my loved ones sick. However, it really put into perspective just how serious everything was.
